SUSTAINABILITY IN RETINA

For the first time, the 2024 ASRS meeting included a section specifically related to sustainability in retina care. Moderated by Geoffrey Emerson, MD, PhD, this section included talks by Jacob Grodsky, MD, David Anderson, MD, and Scott McClintic, MD and was followed by a discussion amongst the audience and panelists, which also included EURETINA colleagues Jens Kiilgaard, MD, PhD and Martin Zinkernagel, MD. 

The highest volume procedure in retina is intravitreal injection. In this video, Geoff Emerson MD, discusses the reasons and ways to mitigate waste from this in-office procedure.
