Latin American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ALACCSA-R /LASCRS)

ALACCSA-R /LASCRS was founded in 1991 as a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to educate fellow ophthalmologists on the latest scientific and technological advancements in our subspecialty. In 1996 the PAAO (Pan American Association of Ophthalmology) recognized us as their official affiliate for cataract and refractive surgery. Our congresses have been characterized by the highest scientific standards, thanks to the collaboration of internationally recognized professors, making it possible for thousands of ophthalmologists to attend our specialty conferences.
